The cost for the Las Vegas Summer League matchup between Cooper Flagg and Bronny James on Thursday (8 p.m. ET on ESPN) is trending to be a hefty one.
According to Vivid Seats, the average ticket price for that day is $223 as of Tuesday. The cheapest price is $85 while the most expensive is $3,073 for the Michelob Ultra Courtside Deck. Less than 1% of tickets are remaining for the day on Vivid Seats.
For comparison, the average ticket price for Victor Wembanyama‘s summer league debut in 2023 was $297. The average for the Flagg-James matchup is set to be the highest price in the competition since Wembanyama’s debut, according to Vivid Seats.
Thursday marks the debut for Flagg, whom the Dallas Mavericks selected at No. 1 in last month’s draft.
James has played in one summer league game so far, recording 10 points in a win against the Miami Heat in the California Classic last Sunday. The Los Angeles Lakers play again Tuesday (10 p.m. ET on ESPN) against the San Antonio Spurs before traveling to Las Vegas.
Tickets for the Las Vegas Summer League are sold by the day rather than by each game. Another popular matchup Thursday is No. 2 pick Ace Bailey against No. 3 pick VJ Edgecombe following Mavericks-Lakers, but Edgecombe has sat out consecutive games because of a bruised thumb.
